The BloodDrive Network is a non-governmental organization in Nigeria dedicated to mobilizing young, healthy, and committed volunteers for regular blood donations. The mission is to ensure a steady and reliable supply of blood and blood products across Nigeria to meet healthcare needs.

Why was I hired by TBDN? (The Problem)

They discovered there are shortages of blood in hospitals and blood banks. Also, there are no platforms, whatsoever, in Nigeria that helps connect blood recipients & donors.

After the organization user’s researcher has done a user research to validate their hypotheses, they came up with the following verdicts & users’ stories:

• "We need blood supply almost immediately we need it."

• "We do not mind paying to get donors."

• "Of course, we are worried about donor’s safety."

• "We usually lost patients that need blood."

• "There are no platforms to request for blood donation in Nigeria."

How do I solve this?

Of course, I designed the interfaces that proffer solutions to the problems highlighted above.

• I created the sketches on papers to make sure I could iterate and share with the stakeholders in case there is a correction.

• Then, proceed to design the high fidelity

• I ensured collaboration & communication between the developers are smooth and perfectly understood.
